Description A nobleman believed to be Frederick, Prince of Wales (1707-1751) in blue coat with, gold frogging

Zincke, born in Dresden, 1683, came to England in 1706, where he obtained the patronage of the Royalty and had a distinguished clientele.

Frederick Louis, being the eldest son of King George II had numerous of miniatures painted of him in enamel by Zincke, several examples of which, are in the Collection of Her Majesty the Queen.
